The beautiful view of Lake Titicaca was amazing, and the opportunity to stay in a Uros community was lovely. Isaac and his wife were excellent hosts, making my trip wonderful with activities like fishing and a tour around the islands. The meals provided were delicious and I even had warm water for a shower! Despite some minor drawbacks like the cold nights and the non-flushable toilet, I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone wanting an authentic Uros experience. I highly recommend this lodge for its very nice views, amazing hosts, and the opportunity to immerse in the local culture.

The experience at this lodge was truly amazing! the hosts, Isaac and Gladys, made us feel right at home. We had the opportunity to explore all the islands and even went fishing with Isaac. Our room was gorgeous, with a stunning view of the lake, and the shower was always hot. the best part was the delicious lunch and dinner prepared by Gladys.
The nights on the island can get quite cold, but the bed was cozy and they provided plenty of blankets. It would have been nice to have a hot water bottle for extra comfort.

Isaac and Gladys, our amazing hosts, showed us their unique way of life on the islands, made entirely out of totora. We went fishing with Isaac and learned about their daily routines. The room was stunning, with two large windows overlooking the lake, and a cozy bed with a breathtaking view. We also opted for their homemade meals, which were delicious. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Peru.
My kids wished we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding area and try out more activities. For families with children, it would be great to have some outdoor games or activities available for entertainment during the stay.
